What we collect
When you apply we collect parent and student contact details, academic background, learning preferences, uploaded supporting documents, assessment results, learning plans, session records, and billing status. Staff accounts store a name, email, and role.
How we use it
Information is used to review applications, schedule assessments, build and deliver learning plans, issue invoices, and communicate with families by email. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Student and minor data
Student records are submitted by, or with the consent of, a parent or legal guardian. A parent may request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of their family's records at any time.
Who can see it
Access is restricted to authorised Meridian Learning staff and to the family the record belongs to. Data is stored with encryption in transit and at rest, and row-level security limits every request to the records the signed-in user is entitled to see.
Service providers
We use third parties for hosting and database services, transactional email delivery, and accounting/invoicing. They process data only on our instructions.
Retention
Applications and learning records are retained while a family is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and academic history, then deleted on request.
